NUVATION BUSINESS SOLUTIONS
Driver Access Terms
Version 1.0 · Effective 23 August 2026 · South Africa
1. Invitation-only access
A driver account is not connected to a business merely because the person creates a NuVation login. The business owner must invite the exact confirmed email address, and the driver must accept that invitation. The owner remains responsible for confirming the driver's identity, authority and suitability before inviting them.
2. Limited delivery workspace
Once invited, a driver may see only deliveries assigned to that driver for the relevant business. Driver access does not permit creating, editing, assigning, cancelling or viewing other deliveries, customers, invoices, bookkeeping, stock, jobs, projects, fleet records, account settings or the wider business workspace.
3. Delivery completion records
For an assigned delivery, the driver may record the completion information required by the Service, including opening and closing odometer readings and a recipient signature captured through a compatible touch-enabled device. A driver may also complete one daily K53-style pre-use check for a vehicle assigned to that driver on that day. The driver must enter information accurately, must not sign for another person without authority and must report mistakes promptly to the business owner.
4. Business responsibility and safety
NuVation records business information; it does not dispatch vehicles, supervise drivers, verify licences, insure vehicles, confirm roadworthiness, determine delivery safety, provide transport advice or monitor real-world delivery performance. The business remains responsible for lawful employment or contractor arrangements, vehicle condition, route, load, insurance, safety procedures, customer communication and every real-world delivery decision.
5. Confidentiality and device security
A driver must keep login credentials, assigned-delivery information, customer details and signatures confidential; use only a device the driver is authorised to use; not share screenshots, export data or permit another person to use the account; and sign out or secure the device when it is unattended. The business owner may revoke driver access at any time.
6. Records and audit trail
Delivery completion, invitation, access and related audit records may remain in the business history after driver access ends where needed for record integrity, security, disputes, legal obligations or the retention periods described in the NuVation Privacy Policy and applicable terms.
7. No professional transport service
NuVation is software only. It does not provide transport, logistics, legal, safety, insurance, tax, accounting or other professional services. The business and driver must obtain independent advice where needed.
